SimonMed’s online ratings split sharply by how the reviews are gathered. On independent complaint platforms the company clusters at the low end — the Better Business Bureau’s Scottsdale profile carries an active ‘Pattern of Complaints’ alert, with 514 complaints closed over three years and customer reviews averaging about 1.1 out of 5; PissedConsumer sits near 1.5 out of 5 across 635 reviews (about one in ten would recommend); Sitejabber about 1.2; and Yelp about 2.1 across thousands of reviews. By contrast, Google ratings solicited at the point of care — often by kiosk or text at check-out — run far higher, roughly 4.3 to 4.6 with thousands of reviews per location.
Both are shown here rather than cherry-picked; the gap itself is the point. Self-motivated reviewers on independent platforms report a very different experience than the checkout-solicited average. These are opinion aggregations observed in July 2026, not adjudicated facts; complaints filed with the BBB are filed, not proven.
