This site is pointed, but it is fact-first. The value of documenting a company and its owners depends entirely on getting the facts right and being clear about what is fact, what is allegation, and what is opinion.
A lawsuit that has only been filed proves nothing on its own. On every legal-action page, we describe what was alleged and mark it unproven. We state a resolved result — a settlement or a judgment — only when there is one to point to, with its source.
Legal and regulatory actions cite a court docket, a regulator's release, or reputable news coverage. If we can't source it, it isn't published as fact — at most it's noted as reported-and-unverified.
We describe recurring patterns and link to the public listings (BBB, Google, Healthgrades, and similar) they come from. We do not scrape or republish full reviews. Any quote is short, attributed, and illustrative — and a pattern is only shown when it appears across multiple independent listings, never a single review presented as representative.
Ownership matters, so we get the stakes right. We distinguish acquiring/controlling an entity from holding a minority stake, and we source each claim. The "same owner" comparison between portfolio companies is framed as a documented parallel, with each parallel tied to a specific action — not asserted as an abstract argument about private equity.
Taglines and framing — including the call to consider a second opinion on where you get scanned — are our opinion and are marked as commentary. They target the company and its ownership structure, never the individual doctors who refer patients. Commentary never sits inside the fact-bearing parts of the site.
